Overview
The SnorePro can detect and record loud snores so users are able to track their improvements and know how much their snoring has reduced over time. The watch-like unit supports a biofeedback function that sends a programmable digital pulse to help reduce snoring. This may very well save your relationship from interrupted bedmates who are losing sleep every night! Users may also determine and address any factors, such as sleep positioning or consumption of alcohol/cigarette, which may be responsible for increased snoring.
The SnorePro can remind the user of their loud snores by sending electronic stimulations to the users’ skin. This biofeedback technique works like a wife who nudges her snoring husband and disturbs his sleep which causes him to change his sleep position. The biofeedback function is activated by loud snores through a changeable snore intensity threshold; it is a sleep disturbance and a consequence for the snores which trains the snorer to tighten up the nose/throat muscles or fix a sleep position to end snoring.
Improve your health and your relationship with your bedmate!
The Competitive Advantage
LCD Display and Snore Counter
- Displays snore counts/history for tracking improvements
- Know how your snoring has reduced over time
- Learn how to alter sleep positions or change lifestyle for better results
- Learn how to gradually train your throat muscles by lowering the stimulation activating conditions
Adjustable Threshold
SnorePro allows users to increase or decrease the snore threshold to adapt to their sleeping environment. If a snore is louder than the preset threshold (measured in dB), a stimulation pulse will be issued.
Users may increase the threshold to eliminate false stimulation in a noisy room. On the other hand, if the bedmate is very sensitive to the snore sounds, the user can decrease the threshold to issue stimulation at less noisy snores. Users may also wish to decrease the snore threshold for progressive improvements.
3-2-1 Training Program
The SnorePro offers an exclusive advanced training program for users to gradually reduce snoring.
Beginner – This mode will stimulate at every 3 continuous snores; there is no action against a single or two continuous snores. This allows users to learn and adapt to the biofeedback training process. When snore history shows improvement, users are ready for the next training mode.
Intermediate – This mode will stimulate on every 2 continuous snores.
Advanced – This mode will stimulate on every single snore. Note: this is the most severe consequence and may be too disturbing for a beginner.
To achieve best results, users may move from beginner, intermediate, and finally to the advanced mode.
Snoring Risk Factors
Snoring occurs by the vibration of the airway tissues in the air passage which is caused by a blockage or narrowing in the nose, mouth, or throat. For some, the reason of snoring may be unknown. However, there are certain factors that may increase the risk of snoring which includes:
- Alcohol consumption
- Weight gain / obesity
- Smoking
- Sedative medicines
- Sleeping on your back
- Nasal congestions
