EEZZEE-BAK is designed to be placed on a seat. Its shape conforms to the lwoer back in an average sized adult. The internal vertical slat structure allows for movement parallel to the vertical axis, thus allowing the product to conform to a wide range of adult breadth sizes. The product conforms to the natural lordosis (forward curvature) of the human lower spine and will therefore promote good posture for seated adults, particularly for prolonged periods of sitting (driving, long hual flights, office work, etc).
The curvature of the product in the vertical plane at the sides is likely to reduce the tendency for the seated individual to lean or slump to one side. This might be of particular benefit for wheelchair users with postural difficulties or weakness due to stroke and other neurological disorders.
Maintenance of good posture in both healthy and disabled individuals is likely to reduce musculoskeletal back pain. EEZZEE-BAK offers the potential benefit to improve posture and reduce backache caused by poor seating support.
